Well we just got back from Wausau, Brian got released today It was a good day for all!! We drove down and brought them their dog Lucy and all their stuff and we got them a couple of books to help him/them make a change to a more heart healthy life. Lots of changes ahead, but he will have great support! Their one heck of a couple, pretty special people and great friends we will grow old with!

My goodness-been out of touch so now that I'm catching up, I was in a bit of a shock to learn of this ordeal. Happy to hear the good result news and hope everything good continues. Our prayers and many thoughts to both Mr. & Mrs. Squat alias Brian & Julie.

Brian went back in the hospital last night, their not sure whats going on. He had an irregular heart beat, ekg was ok but his enzyme level is going up. I wish they would have kept him in the hospital for a week or more to make sure things were working right! This is just to scary!

God please make him ok! Sending lots of prayers

Hope all turns out well. Keep us posted. I'm not going to call and bug them.

Probably the friggin Wings game aftermath!

Dr. said Brian will be OK. Dr. said the irregular beating and feelings he is having are caused from the heart attack and they may go away and they may not. Smart to go in to the ER, lots to learn. Their heading to his Cardo Dr at 1:30

Thank you guys for all the thoughts and prayers. I made Squat promise me to not have a heart attack and this is the first promise he has broken!! It was lucky that he didn't go into a full blown heart attack until he was at the hospital. He has a lot of problems with acid reflux and the pain was coming and going so at first they thought he was just having reflux problems. About 1 1/2 hours after being in the ER the pain went to a 20 and his EKG showed he was having a heart attack. A lot of people and things fell into place to save his life. The nurse in Ontanagon decided not to close down the ER and keep her eye on him, the helicopter that was supposed to be all the way in Wausau was refueling in Eagle River when they got the call. They airlifted him to the hospital and had the stents put in in less than 2 hours from the onset of the heart attack which is unbelievable considering where we were when it started. There is a small part of his heart that wasn't working when the did the ultrasound but they said it may come back and only time will tell. The hospital in Wausau was the best place for him, they were awesome with the care he got and the nurses were the best!!! We have both quit smoking and today we went shopping for a more heart smart diet. We ate pretty good but were surprised to find out how much sodium is in some of the foods we ate. The smoking is the biggest factor the doctor said and he was happy we had quit. (me too) Now just cardio rehab and getting back to normal (well for Squat anyways), he tires easily and won't be able to work for at least a month. I think that bothers him the most due to the fact he was just able to get back to work after 8 1/2 months of rehab from the motorcycle accident. So i'm thinking after the motorcycle accident, brain aneurysm, and now a heart attack he should be good to go for the rest of his life. I've told him I can't handle anymore drama. Watching that helicopter fly over as I was headed to the hospital was about all I could handle!!! That was the longest 2 1/2 hour drive of my life, wondering if he would even be alive when I got to the hospital. Made me realize how much I love him...... Again, thank you everyone for the kind words and prayers. Dave there is no way you and Mike will be allowed to babysit Squat, you forget I know all the trouble you 3 have gotten into!!!

I forgot one very important thing!! Mr & Mrs Running Bear are the most wonderful friends we could ever have. Besides taking care of Lucy (our for legged child), bringing all of our stuff and her to Wausau, the support they have given us is invaluable!!! Also a huge thank you to Catmandoo for coming and getting Madison (my daughter) so she could go to school for her last 4 days of the year. We have met so many wonderful people her on JohnDee, what a great family it has become. Thank you to all...........

I am so glad to hear things are going well for you guys, your story brings tears to my eyes! Squat has had his 3 strikes and is in the clear going forward! I cannot imagine watching that helicopter fly overhead and what that 2 1/2 hour drive must have been like for you. Not only has Squat been through heck and back, but you have had a very tough time as well. I wish you both nothing but good things going forward. I'm not surprised by Mr. & Mrs. RB's support through all of this, they epitomize what a great group of family we have her on JohnDee.

God bless you!

Thank you all. It has been one heck of a year for me. I am so thankful I found JohnDee.com. I met Julie from here. She has been a rock for me. I can't say enough about how she has done more for me in the last 4 years than my X did in 28. Love you babe. The Runningbears, well if you have met them than you know. If you have not met them yet, you should do so soon. They are the best. Love you guys. And Catmando. Thank you so much for everything. As for the rest of you here, the prayers help so much. Over the years it was me sending prayers not receiving them. What a great group of people.
