Price of Gasoline in your town

We hit $1.13 in Neenah, Wi today. Just for grins and giggles I checked the last time we had a dollar thirteen on the pumps....wait for it.....1980.... 40 years ago. Too bad it took a pandemic and a market crash to give us these prices. Being in a lock-down, a tank of gas will last me a month or more. But I read today that consumption of booze, weed, tobacco, and chocolate is way up. So we got that going for us!:smile:

$1.09 In Kaukauna today. Hope to get boat out this weekend and fill up........50 gallons for $55 sounds good to me!!!!

ran to get some supplies today, Diesel(what I use) was $2.98 a gal and Gas I THINK was $2.58 a gallon
prices on fuel here have been very high for the past yr or more
Pa has crazy high fuel taxes

BUT if I drive an hour south or west of me, its almost .50-.90 cents a gallon cheaper>>
doesn't that suck LOL
its like insulting when I am out of my area and see the savings!
PA sucks on fuel and our roads suck just as bad, not sure where all that fuel tax is going, but a bunch of BS< about it going for roads IMO!

Maybe when all the Illinois politicans get out of jail, the go to PA to get new positions!

One of our Kwik Trips actually got in the price war a week or so back! We have a station in town that is at .99, and so did the Kwik Trip next to me - the other Kwik Trip 4 miles up the road was 1.74 at the time! I see today they have given up on fighting the .99 station and are back at 1.49.....

Price in North Aurora Illinois is $1.61 a gallon at Woodmans, it’s kind of strange because they’re about $.35 cheaper than everybody else, everybody else is around $1.90 to $1.99 a gallon

HAHA< I don't know
but our roads and fuel prices SUCK, is all I know, I wish at times I could sue the state or vehicle wear and tear from the huge pot holes every where
I also wish, when roads are being re done, and the folks building them, were held accountable for a certain amount of time before they fail
seems , they take BIDS for the jobs, cheapest big wins, and they use the cheapest of materials
so there failing almost as soon as there done paving them
MAYBE if they held the road makers accountable for there work(like in almost any other job)
roads would last longer and us tax payers wouldn't be paying for new SAME roads every other yr!
its a crime how fast roads fail here, and all the fuel taxes we pay that is for roadways?
just seems like all that $$ does is , go down someones pockets! and over tax its citizens here!
