I figured the younger crowd only stops long enough for a Monster silo and to upload on you tube or FB what they just did 20 minutes ago.

The wife and I was eating lunch in a place in Bergland yesterday when a group of guys came in, about a dozen. They came down the road, not the trail which is directly behind the place.

One of the employees mentioned to them, very nicely by the way, that riding on the road will get you a ticket in Bergland.

Their response was F*** them, they have to catch us first and something about, "we drove 9 hours to get here and we aren't hurting anything". Before they left a second employee recommended they use the trail off the parking lot.

When they left they went ripping west up the highway towards the gas station.

You can't help stupid........

Sounds like you were at JW BBQ...how was it?

To the OP - I feel your pain. While not in the UP, we have the same situation here. I have permission to cross a persons yard to get to a trail. This neighbor is particular about his lawn, but if their is snow and the ground is not soft, no issues. We are very, very careful about crossing his property, and often just don't due to risk of upsetting him. But leave one snowmobile track and everyone on a sled thinks they can use it. I have confronted a few asking what the heck they were doing. Never a good answer.
