Wondering if anyone has a polaris pro-ride extra tall windshield. I am looking for good wind protection for body and hands. I saw it in a picture , but wasnt sure how it looks on the sled. thanks. Happy Riding !

I have one on my 2012 SBA that is suppose to be the Extra High, it is about 21 " high in the center, it looks great on the sled but I only have 56 miles on it, it was under 10 degrees and it worked good, we are going out this weekend, I can let you know next week. I also have mirrors on it and they look great also.

There are about 5 windshield heights for this sled. I have the snowcheck "high" windshield, which I think is the same that bearrassler has, but they make one that is taller called the "Wide Clyde". They also offer the side deflectors for the hood, which is standard on the Adventure, and those really help keep the body warm! These new SB's are awesome!

I think I am going to go with the wide clyde, since it is suppose to have the most wind protection. I am also going to try the side wind deflectors. Thanks for your feedback and THINK SNOW !!

I put the Wide Clyde on my Adventure this year and also on my wife's 11 LX. It really blocks the wind on the hands. They do have a taller one, but it does not come out as far on the hands. Last weekend in the yoop we put on over 400 miles in sub "0" temps for the most part, and I never really got cold, a little cool yeah, but not cold. I did not put the wind deflectors on my Adventure, because I did not like the way they looked. After last weekends ride in the cold, I don't think I will put them on. I have over 900 miles on the Adventure and I absolutely love it.........

That adventure looks like a nice sled. I have a 11 switchback assault. We boondock alot. Is your adventure good off trail.? I dont like the way those wind deflectors go thru the graphics. I will probably pass on those. Ride safe and enjoy your new sleds !

We had a 2011 Pro R 600 with extra tall windshield last season and this year traded it for the Adventure. The wide clyde with deflectors is by far a warmer ride. And IMO the wide clyde looks a lot sharper than the extra tall did. 100% satisfied with the Adventure's protection. Also handles A LOT better and rides smoother.

Thankfully the Adventure graphics were designed with the side deflectors in mind. I did ride with a guy that had a retro Rush and had the deflectors, didn't look bad at all. I'm at the point where comfort is much more important to me than looks. On a cold day, your body will notice the difference.

We made it out riding last weekend and I had the tall (21") windshield on a 2012 SBA, one other guy had the wide clyde (20") on a Switchback Pro R 2012, and another guy had the extra tall (24") on an 11 SBA, they all looked good, it was -15 on Sunday and mine worked fine, I was a little woried about the lack of protection but I stayed warm without my heavy jacket and my hands were great. I am happy with mine. IMG_1625.jpg

I have a mid range 17" flat black windshield that I would trade even up for the shorty in black. I like the wind! Actually then I can roll my sled out without breaking the windshield (less use of my shovel) and I can be cool again with my buddy Pat.
