Quebec Destination

I didn't want to hijack the 3 old guys thread.

If I head to Quebec this is where I'm staying. It's a nice hotel for sure but the website makes it look slightly better than what it is. What's great about it is you can rent sleds onsite, huge parking for trailers, inside parking garage (heated) for sleds in the winter, good food, spa for the girls and much more. I have stayed there for the weekend with my wife checking it out for a future winter trip.

The local doo dealer sets up on the grounds during the winter for sled rentals for those that don't want to trailer.

Looks like a 2 day drive with trailer what’s halfway place to stay from Milwaukee? How does Canada view no license plate on trailer and hassle with trailer crossing border?

From our experiences, it's always harder getting back into the states than to enter Canada. Even having everything all in order.

Half way from me is Toronto.

No issues with me crossing border with my trailer. Have done it several times. I would not trailer across this country without plates as I believe different states have different requirements let alone a different country.

I do have a nexus card so this may make
My border crossings a bit easier.

Agree on the plates and travel remark, not going to kill anyone to plate their trailer

Saint Raymond is another good place to start over there. Only did it once. There's a dealer next to a hotel that rents sleds. I'm hoping I can talk my group into going there next winter
