Gotta agree with skylar also. I will always first and formost be a packer fan, I loved brett when he wore green and gold but the minute he left my allegance ended then. Still shell shocked after the loss last night. Guess I'll root for the Saints now. I will never root for the queens or cowboys no matter who plays for them. Thats just my 2 cents though

Yes, I would. Packer fan first, Favre fan second. The only time I would not pull for Favre, is if he is playing against the Packers.

I would expect nothing less as I would guess only 33% of Wisconsinites have a clue! "Bring me another beer!" :) just kidding and having some fun. ;)

Packer fan first and only. Players will always come and go. No jerseys in my collection.
Do not care for the way we set up the Packers to leave. He his a very good quarterback and I am not a hater. Don't care for the way he jerked the Packers and the Jets around to get to Minnysoda.

"GO Cowboys"

In an earlier thread I picked the Chargers over the Aints in SB.

But you're ok with the way the Packer's wouldn't allow him to play for anyone in the NFC by putting all of the poison pills in the trade with the Jets? Come on, that's a double standard that only Democrats would be proud of!

did brett not retire from the pack and then cry all over national tv said he was done cant do it every sunday if he wanted to play for the vikes dont sign a long term contract just play year to year.great player for GB but sometimes new blood is needed if he was a real team player come back to the packers 2years ago and compete for the job he gave up if he could beat out rodgers fine but he said trade me and trade me to the team I want dont the packers have some sayso they are the ones paying him.

They would be proud of that. LOL

Good thing there is no politics in football, and anyone can own a team.......

I'll admit Brett left them hanging, but once he wanted to come back they wanted nothing to do with him and should have let him play wherever he wanted to, especially since they obviously thought he had nothing left in the tank. Neither side looked too good during that fiasco!

For the uninformed.
Fact: Favre had a great 07 season and said he loved playing with that team
Fact: One month later he retired. Said he just couldn't do it any more.
Fact: Packers asked him back and he turned them down.
Fact: The Packers had to move on.
Fact: Farve never turned in his retirement papers, knowing full well he wasn't done.
Fact: Farve waits till training camp to begin and declares he is ready to go again. Knowing the Packers have moved on. Asks for his release to go where he would like. This would be a dopey business move by the Packers.
Fact: Farve shows up in Green Bay to force the Packers to make a move. So they did.
Fact: Farve plays for the Jets. Starts the season well, but by the end is not on the same page as the rest of the team.
Fact: Favre retires from the Jets. Waits till draft and asks for release never turning in retirement papers.
Fact: Family is reserving rooms in GB for the weekend of Nov. 1st., before he is even released by the Jets.

If something doesn't stink here, some need to get their nostrils checked.

I generally root for teams in the NFC North if the Pack are out. Not this time around.

I do agree it was bad for both sides.but I do believe theydid give him a chance to return all they said was comeback and compete for your job maybe it was already decided I dont really know. But I do know that not 1 player can run the show when you sign a contract the team does have some rights as does the player its all in the wording but as a team they have to make decisions that they feel are right for the team if that involves not letting him play for the vikes that is there right.I actually real believe they did him a favor if he got sacked 50 times in a season he would be in a wheelchair now not playing the cowboys.Just my thoughts
