My work gives provides a flu shot at no charge to the employees so I gotten that every year for the past 20 years or so and haven't gotten the flu ever since getting the flu shot. I've never had any ill effect from the flu shot either. Maybe I've been lucky, but for me, I see no reason not to get a flu shot. Regarding a COVID-19 vaccine, if it's proven safe and effective, I would consider getting that.

I get Flu shot free from work. I have not had the flu in 15 years. so, yes and yes!
