2002 ski doo mxz 500 started in fall looked good but the head light flickerd then burnt out switched to low beam and that burned out put in new bulbs and the same thing happened where do i start to look for problem

Voltage regulator went bad causing over voltage to burn out bulbs. Tougher question is did something take out the voltage regulator? Had a 06 that was doing same thing wound up being a bad hand warmer that shorted out regulator that then burned out bulbs. I know this doesn’t give you a fix but a place to start. Good luck
