I bought my kids one a number of years ago. More of a model on the shelf now but these are much more capable. For the purpose these are cool!

3D printers have made these possible. Along with a lot of other RC things. Basically like buying a crate motor and building your own frame. Plus lithium batteries give these a ton of juice in a small package.
