Ranger heater

I traded machines but kept my accessories and installed them on my new one. My heater after installation worked intermittently. Saturday on a ride my heater wouldn't blow warm air hardly at all. Both hoses are warm going to the heat exchanger. The fan works great. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Bty my coolant levels are fine and engine temperature is normal.

Sounds like plugged heat exchange. Check and see the temp of both hoses, one should be cooler than the other.

Sounds like there may be some air trapped in cooling system. The heater core is the high point and tough to bleed out

sounds like to me you gotta BURP it...drive it so the front is lifted up in the air quite a bit with back on ground...then pop cap and run it....should burp out an air pocket

Just put a bleeder valve on the return hose from the heater core and call it a day. Simple Eh!
