rare sled

Back in earley 70's I saw a twin engine single track sled. I think the name was eagle something. Anyone remember them? I heard someone in Ill has one.

Ski Do had the Double Eagle with two engines, Polaris had the X2 also with two engines, they were for speed runs, not consumer sleds

Here are a couple of pictures of them that I took at West Yellowstone in 1970





The Ski Doo won that day with a speed in the high 90's, the Polaris was right behind.

Twin 399's back to back. They have one of these in the Snowmobile Hall of Fame near St Germaine. A lot of other famous machines there too, well worth a visit anytime of the year.
