Real Trees or Artificial

Which do you choose?
My wife prefers the Artificial as the needles don't fall off when it's time to take them down and after the holidays everything is packed up and stored for next year. I miss the smell of pine but hate to cut down a perfectly good tree for only a couple of weeks. How about at your house?

Had some real trees as a kid, even tried a few as an adult. Despised the mess even when properly watered & freshly cut. Been a fan of artificial for many years now. The trees now look real. Our tree is aging but, she still looks good. Merry Christmas! Our Family Christmas Tree.jpg

Artificial. Had a real one for one year when the kids were little. Couldn't figure out why I had a never-ending stuffed nose and wheezing from Thanksgiving until after New Years. Suddenly cleared up after the tree went out to the curb for garbage. The mentally challenged Labrador Retriever also could not figure out why his "spot" suddenly came in the house, so he just did what comes naturally. Enough said.

We always had real trees when the kids were growing up. It was a bit of a tradition to go out and cut down our tree. On nice warm days, the kids would take an hour or longer to find the 'perfect' tree. On really cold days, it took about 5 minutes.... Now that we are empty nesters, we bought a Balsam Hill tree. I miss the pine smell, but these help in that regard

I would prefer to have fake just because of the ROI, but the wife won't have it! I think the tree this year was $70. average of probably $60 over the 20 years we have been together adds up! Plus for some reason it turns into my job to make sure it has water

Prefer real, but wife's allergies have necessitated a switch to fake. I admit I like the convenience and cost savings, but it just doesn't seem right.

We have one real and one balsam hill fake one that my wife likes. First time we had a real tree in 12 Years. It was nice. We don't have allergies so all good.
