Still very thin all over the area around Goegibic. Somewhat rideable but hardly worth it unless you absolutely have made the trip and are here to ride---Best to wait it out a couple more weeks and I am sure the conditions will Improve dramatically----Going to be some terrible trails up here between christmas and Jan 1 unless we get some serious SNOW !!!!!

You guys are going to go thru the Eagle River Trail Burn the Snirt Syndrome without more snow. Folks are coming @ Xmas & New Years & they are going to ride whatever looks white & go away thinking it was GREAT! Unfortunately Eagle River takes along time to recover with limited LES. LG trails will be fine after huge LES dump.:)

It is really hard to believe what some will ride on.I am really glad the way things are my county is not open at this time, we do have a base setting up so we get snow we will be good to go,if we was open it would already be trashed to the dirt.I want to ride just as bad as anybody but they are snowmobiles and i see no need to totaly abuse them on rocks and frozen mud.

I cant believe how many sleds were out in Ironwood Hurley area.Rocks everywhere.
Yes, I saw alot on the Hurley cam as well.
It's just killing people! They have to get out no matter what the conditions are.
Wish I was riding too!

Oh yeah if it is white they will ride it. I almost took the Attak out today to give gkids a ride around the yard but they were having fun with Flexiable Flyer so stayed with that no use tearing grass up in 4 inches of snow. Ironwood / Hurley has ability to recover with LES dump. Could be 1st time ever my sled was not ridden in December........ 14 days left we will see?

Broke down and took the Renegade for a rip around miners park here in Negaunee today. The foot of snow we had has thawed and froze so many times we have 5-6" of snow so hard I couldn't spin through it with a 1 1/2" studded track!!

Was in Eagle River today and they are in the process of rideing the dirt and rideing to the dirt there also.Just love seeing brand new 13 thousand dollar sleds rideing dirt, kinda makes my skin crawl.

Told ya they don't care!!!!! Trails open, CHECK, Gas & Oil, CHECK, 1/2 Inch Snow, CHECK..... Point that sled down the trail & ride.lol Living in the Eagle River area you just shake your head & laugh. 1 day it was 55 degrees, sunny, roads were bare trails were seas of muck & sled rentals were going out. I don't know how this works with hafax, carbides & skis?.....Must just replace then rent to next guy. The people with the new $13K sleds don't care either or they would wait for better conditions.

I think we should all load up and head south to the OK. panhandle, and Kansas. They are inline to get 12" or so, I think.
Them southerners would think they were being invaded by aliens!
That would be a blast!
