Real world trail reports

It stinks knowing that with each passing day, with no snow, the season is getting that much shorter. I thought the long range forecast models were calling for a La Nina winter, which would mean a better than average chance for above normal snowfall in the upper midwest. What's up with that?

the weather guys just guess, they dont know either. Im really depressed right now as I have a brand new cat sitting in the garage with zero miles on it, and absolutely no snow in the forecast for the next month. Should just quit sledding

I normally dont post trail reports but i must say I rode 96 miles in and around iron county on saturday (not Hurley) but close and must say they are early season condictions but did find some very nice trails if you knew were to go also found bad ones road my backup sled and had no issues most certiatly there were some rocks on a few of the more riden trails but also rode some groomed (panned) trails seemed to me that the trailes that had been panned were not as good as the ones that were just ridden on I most certinatly would not drive 300 miles to ride but if you were in the area I would venture out beats sitting on the couch dreaming about riding.we can only hope for snow guys

I have to agree it is still some what early, and I'm liking all the real reports lets keep it going for a couple more weeks when the snow really starts to fly.

Heading north of calumet on the 13th -22nd of january, just praying there will be enough snow for some boondocking...If I dont see some good snow, I think I will need to head west instead.

I hope the LES comes, The weather man in Rhinelander said there could be up to 18 inches this weekend, doing the snow dance.

Rode trail 11 out of bessemer this morning, DO NOT TAKE THIS TRAIL....trees down all over the trail, poor signage, half of the northern part of the trail that runs down the highway was plowed because I believe they are logging it??? Just a heads up for people thinking of riding it.

Thanks for the heads up on that trail. We are coming up this weekend and from all the reports it looks to be a busy one but a ridable one also. i'll take both.
