Recent Storm Had "Dirty Snow"

I live in Green Bay and noticed our 5 inches of snow yesterday was yellow/brownish and kinda gross.
Here's the explanation..

Ya you should see my truck after all the snow melted while sitting in my garage. Shes gonna get a bath after work tonight. Crazy though to have it travel that far. Couple guys told me Nebraska. What a rare deal. It is very dirty snow. Lot of dirt/dust to do that. WOW.

So i guess i wasn't seeing things! Came out of work yesterday and had some brown snow on my truck. Figured some dirt blew on it off the building but i guess not!

I have plenty of brown snow on my truck now. It's from all the mud being created in the yard!

I can see that happening.

Reminds me of riding in the UP several years back in the UP, I believe we were somewhere north of Iron mt. and as we rode north the snow began to appear darker and darker. It was a really strange site ....felt kinda like the Twilight Zone.....LOL

After about 10 miles or so and the dirt very visible all over the place, we came to an intersection that was being monitored and detoured by a local gas company employee. Seems a buried high pressure line had exploded just hours earlier!!!

Here I thought it was pollen blown off the trees - at least that's what it looked like under the birch in the back yard.

I had to go wash my truck and wifes car because they were full of dirt from the snow.

Some of that dust/dirt might be arizona too. Big winds and dust storms here south east Az. last Tuesday/Wednesday #Dont eat dirty snow. LOL

Like wise down here. My guess is Tex/Ark dirt.

Farmers are already working land south of here. Working land kicks up dust, and leaves loose dirt for the storms to pick up. That dirt can travel all the way across the country.
