does anyone have reliable information on what the trails in the U.P are like? Are they open and being groomed? We are familiar with Munising but heard there are trees down everywhere blocking trails? We have this week of Dec 2nd off and want to take advantage of this recent snow but coming up from southern Wisconsin, we don't want to head up there blind! Please reply if you have facts and/or suggestions? Thank you!

I tried to ride Watersmeet nothing groomed yet and trees down, The gate was closed a few miles down the trail on 3. Someone said a lot of stuck sled around Gogebic

If your heading up now you better be packing a chain saw. The first big storms bring down all the weak trees. Lots of clubs need help clearing. Also look up in miscellaneous at "Start Grooming" thread. Happy Riding!

yeah its crazy - down trees. going to be insane amount of man hours... volunteers seriously needed. groomers were out today. no drags. trying to knock snow off trees and see if snap back. most are not. So you have to cut. About 6 miles of 100 complete.
