Rev XP Rear Stop Pads

I was going over my sled the other day getting ready for a week long back pack trip across the UP when I saw the rear stop pads on my skid were bent out almost to the point were the pads wouldn't touch when they came together. So I made a support to prevent this from happening again. I am not sure if this happens often or if there is something already out there to prevent this. Let me know what you think.

I think you should make them for others. Sweet looking billet. Looks killer.

Thanks,
I would make some for other people. The only problem is drilling the holes on location in the skid, but I might be able to make some sort drill template to go along with the support.

Once again another cool piece made by you! I remember another post about a year ago about something you made in the taillight maybe??? That post inspired me to want to become a cnc machinist, seeing cool things you can build for snowmobiles. I actually took autocad I last semester and am taking autocad II this semester, it is tons of fun sitting for a whole class period making all sorts of cool drawings!

How about some short " Transfer punches ", just an idea.
Your brace looks good, how about running a radius cutter along the 4 outside edges and inside the slot, to blend it in , then have anodized ? Just rambling.... giving you ideas.

Looks good.

600etec- I have not seen that yet, I'll have to check it out.

Indy - Stick with the autocad and try to learn some sort of 3-D software. I would recommend Soildworks. Even with manufacturing being down right now qualified help is hard to find. With your imagination and some machines to work with you will go far in the trade.
The other part I had on here was the snow flap support for my Rev XP, and thanks for the compliments.

mjkaliszak- The tap drill is blind, but maybe transfer screws. Good ideas I might make another one with those changes.
