Riding in Ironwood MI

hey everyone,

Myself and a few buddies are going to Ironwood, MI in February for a bachelor party. Im looking for some tips on what bars to go to. we are staying in Ironwood and would like to go to some good bars and some strip clubs if there are any. if anyone has an suggestions that would be great. Thank you

ride hard all day and catch a cab to hurly at night. no use getting a sledding when drunk tix to view the middle age single moms work the poll

and if any one on your crew has a tendency to need a luggage cart to be brought back to his room. I recommend pinning the hotel name and room number to his chest for the cab driver to see. oh yes it can happen

this doesn't sound like a snowmobile trip - maybe you should leave your sleds home (if you actually have any) and rent some 4wheel drive Hoverrounds with the car battery and just hover from strip bar to strip bar and then hover back to the motel-I don't think you will get a DUI with a Hoverround and the name tag with motel and room # would be good for your group.

Is this the same group from MN that posted a couple months ago about a bachelor party in the UP? For that post, most of the advice seemed to be to avoid Hurley and go to Deadwood instead, if you are trying to mix nightlife and snowmobiling.

yes this is the same group from a couple months ago. we finally decided to ride in ironwood. and to Mr. towtruck we have sleds and plan on riding. being it is a bachelor we are going to mix riding and night life. i have heard a few good and bad things about hurly, but i am just trying to get an idea about where to go that will be a good time and it not to far away

If you can, I would look into staying downtown Hurley at the Silver Street Motel. You will be one block from Michigan to ride that direction. Its actually easier to ride in Michigan from here then many of the hotels in Ironwood. Plus no taxi rides. Easy for everyone to get back to hotel. 715-561-2324 Once you are back at the motel, walk to the west side of silver street and work your way down to the lower block where strip bars are, and once you are there you will be litterally 300 feet from your bed. I know the area well and have no affiliation to any hotel, but in my twenty years of riding in the area I have never been to Ironwood for night life. This will fit your needs very well.
