well, we had a great fall ride 10/6-7-8-9- no new guys but we
had 3 side by sides 2- 500cc aces one 250 kaw 2 wheel drive 4 wheeler and my 1982 750 yamaha maxim street bike! I had a brand new street tire on the back and climbed up mount baldy by white pine and rode most of the trials but it rained all day sat so I bailed out and rode shotgun with one of the side by side guys. Sunday the trials were surprisingly dry so I wrote on the trial to houghton (yep down the rock hill) then got on tar the rest of day and went to the old military base by Phoenix and ended up at Brockway mountain -then monday we rode some logging roads off # 3 by twin lakes. the colors could not have been better-sometimes we just had to stop and just be amazed by the beauty of the UP
heading back up on 10/18.....I am a sledder but...well the UP is special every month of the year
