I only rode a 5 mile section approximately around Twin Lakes, but, they were absolutely hands down the most brutal trails I've ridden in my entire riding career. Due to warm temps the groomers didn't get a chance to get out this weekend, I'm guessing with the colder temps this evening they will get out as they have PLENTY of snow left on the trails. My instinct tells me this week the trails will be very very good in the lake effect snow belt (due to prior snow depth) with colder weather, grooming, and nobody up there!

I agree with Indy..My party of 4 riders went 150 miles saturday..started at Sidnaw on trail 8/15 to 12 to Ontonagon down 101 to 13 to Bergland to 3/8/8 back to Sidnaw. morning start was actually good trails and nice riding but that deteriorated really fast as it got warmer. by the time we got to bergland it was tough going. still plenty of snow so the groomers should be able to fix it this week. got very washboardy and the sled didnt like some of the icy spots on 12

We were on trail 13, Twin Lakes side, for about 8 miles, and it was near perfect. This was Sat late morning. Plenty of snow in that area.
