RU Outside jacket and bibs - thick enough for trail riding

I noticed RU Outside is having a huge clearance sale and I was curious if their sonic jacket and bibs are "heavy" enough for trail riding (the Sonic jacket and bibs). They're advertised as 3-season which makes me think they're an outer layer only. I'm curious if anyone has purchased these. Also I noticed the bibs are actually pants - to me, the pants would not work as well as bibs but I'd thought I'd see what everyone thought. The prices are marked down to $60 or $70 from $150 or so.

Not real familiar with that brand, but I don't think pants would be as good as bibs. I would be afraid that when sitting the back may come down or if your jacket rides up you would have a cold area on your lower back.

I just bought some new Kimpex on Ebay for my son for $39.98 including shipping.

They seem pretty nice for the money. I think he has other sizes available also.

I bought their boots last year at one of the snow shows and absolutely loved them. Paid $150, now they are on clearance for $70. Apparently they are down-sizing.

I have their boots and socks. I love both.

Thanks for the heads-up. I just placed an order.

We have their thumb thing, knee thing and back thing as well as their gloves and back packs, had them for 5 years now and love them, we usually get our stuff at their booth at Hay Days

Anyone used their jacket? At $70, I'm thinking about taking a chance on it.

If you like their products, they have some incredible sales going on right now. Sounds like they won't be going to the shows and are downsizing out of their warehouse...so I'm sure they will appreciate any support!
