One thing nice about the crappy conditions last year and trails not opening, and this year, so far... is that we didn't discuss fatalities. Sorry to report but that ended tonight. I'm hearing that there was a fatality today in Houghton County in Sidnaw. All I know so far is that it was a 50 ish male who lost control and left the trail. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. Please be careful out there and I hope that this is the only time we talk about this during 2025.

Wisconsin man dead in Houghton County snowmobile crash

The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office says speed and alcohol are believed to be factors.

Very sad. Conditions aren't great rite now in a lot of areas then you add speed and alcohol and more times then not the results aren't good. Prayers to those left behind.
