I can't help you on that, but I recently got a Verizon Jetpack 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot MHS291L for our place up north. The problem was that I was getting good reception on the voice side, but not the data side. We were using our phone as the hotspot for our PC. The phone would naturally try to connect to 4G LTE out of Gaylord. Problem was we are about 18 miles from there and in what probably was a extended 4G range. Anyways it was so slow sending and receiving, seems about the same as dial up. In the meantime there is a 3G tower about 3 miles away. If and when the phone switched over to 3G it was fast and ran great. After doing some research and talking to a person at the Verizon store in Gaylord we got one. I took ti back to our place and put in on a window ledge facing Gaylord. Turned it on and connected right to 4G LTE. Our PC has ran the best it's ran since using this. One thing I do like about this one model is that you can connect an external antenna to it if needed. Also you can use it in the vehicle, but I guess you can to that with others. Oh, this one also has a bigger battery to last longer. The bad part is it's an additional $20 per month on our bill.
