A big thanks to John and Nora for putting up with the cheesehead from Wisconsin. If you think Grace is cute in pictures, you ought to see her in person!

Here are a few pics from Saturday's ride.

A few more, when the younger guys were jumping in thses pics, I was really wishing I had my sled. John said I could have at it with his, but, I sure would hate to run out of talent on someone else's sled. LOL.

Here is a vid of Tim doing another wheel stand.

Firecatguy-

The verdict is that it was not so close. The 2010 could not catch the 2009. Yep, that's right, the 09 was faster out of the block and in the stretch. I was really surprised. I knew that the mods I made to the 09 made it fly, but did not realize to what extent until we put the two up against each other.

We did swap out sleds and raced several times on a closed road, and every time the 2009 took the 2010.

The 2010 did feel like it had more torque and I suppose the 2010 still needs some breaking in, so we will give it another try later in the season, but for now the 09 is the champ and really rips.

Interesting. You have a pipe kit, airbox, reeds, clutching, and controller box right? Did you ever do gearing in the 2009?

Actually, the control box is not even on yet.

Just the y-pipe, pipe, can, high-flow air intake, reeds (V-Force) and the secondary weights from SLP. I know a couple of guys that put the different gearing in, one even went out west with us last March, but the sled was a pooch. I was not impressed with a gearing change at all.

I pretty much followed exactly what SLP told me to do and I guess their 100's of hours of testing everything under the sun paid off, they sure knew what to do and what not to do!

Skylar,
Is the sled in the last picture (jumping) the same sled in Johns Journal doing a wheelie?
