Thinking about buying either Scott Wander pants or Scott Honcho bibs. Does anyone own these? I assume the Wander pants are just shells, correct? Are they warm enough and what do you typically wear as layers under them? I prefer the Honcho bibs because they are Gortex but typically stayed away from bibs because I wear a Tek Vest and don't want to look any more like the Pilsbury Dough Boy than I already do. Is the bib part insulated also or just shell fabric? Basically will they be bulky under a Tek Vest? Are you satisfied with the Scott brand?

Very satisfied with the bibs, not bulky at all, insulated all the way up, very thin and lightweight. Gortex completely waterproof obviously. Scott is my new favorite brand. Goggles,gloves,bibs,and just bought the Amsoil race jacket made by Scott. Very light and warm. Let me know if you decide on the bibs, I got a great deal on Ebay. I could look up the history.

I would go with the pants and get some suspender to hold them up its a great set up and its nice when you have too go pee, or stop for lunch you dont have the bibs hanging around your waist and you will look trim and fit

The pants actually come with suspenders but I assume are non insulated and not Gortex. The bibs are Gortex and insulated which is what I am looking for. I agree about pants being more convenient for when nature calls.
If you can find the seller that woud be great. Do you wear a Tek Vest? Think it will be bulky over these bibs? I used to have HJC bibs and switched to pants when I started wearing the Tek Vest.

thats the one, no zippout liner, but very light. To warm for boondocking, but haven't had cold weather yet.
No luck on the seller, no items for sale. I do not TekVest, but I can't see it being a issue with bulkness. These are the best fitting bibs I have ever owned. Maybe just lucky on the size finally. I do however find myself very comfortable with less jacket now. I prefer no snow dust flyin up my love handles. lol ! Scott brand,great for price.
