scratched face shield ?

does anyone know of anything you can put on a scratched shield to help or am i just better off getting a new one .thanks

All kinds of websites came up when I searched this....helmet shield scratch remover

I don't personally have any experience with any of them though.

I kinda sorta accidentally left the clear wrapping on the inside and out of one of my old polaris helmets i got when i was a little kid, and didn't discover it till i got a new helmet, the shield looks brand new!

I hope it's not a heated shield, cause it is junck if scratched. Heated ones are expensive, but regular face shields arn't that bad.

If you have more than one helmet, sooner or later you will scratch them. I found a 4 series plastic scratch remover that works, but is time consuming. Using the #1 bottle first, then progressing to the finest polish.

It will cost you about $40 for the stuff, but over time it pays back and can be used for all plastic scratches, including thos in your sled windshield.

I used novus scratch remover on a heated shield. It seemed to work pretty good for taking out fine sratches.
