Seamless Gutter Cost?

I am hoping to get an estimate this week. I was wondering what to expect. I have a one story plain ranch house. it's 28 by 66 feet or so, rectangular shape. the sides and back are all a straight shot, the front has two dormers.

Any ball park on what to expect for costs?

I have no clue and I'm debating doing it in plastic myself.

thanks,

I think it used to run around $2.50 a foot, but its been a few years since I did a job with some. Like Ezra said, don't do the Menards plastic special. You'll have long term problems and you'll always look back and say "I shoulda ...."

Be interested to here what your quote ends up being.

I was able to do seamless myself for $400. I have a story and a half and 85' (42.5' a side) of gutter. A local lumber yard had a machine for the gutters. I paid them a delivery charge to show up and extrude the gutters. My wife and I put them up and it has been raining several times a week since. I received quotes of double that to have them installed.

prices are all over from what I see some of the franchise places are over $5.75
a guy with truck and trailer with a former $2.45 .
for ramblers .
add a buck or more for 2story
last one I had done was $2.45 and I recharged$ 4.oo
that is in a metro area with lots of competition I found up in N MN almost 2x the cost.so I also went to my siding supplier and had them make them for me. but I prob could have just done the Menerds jumbos in the 16ft and had 1 seam.
way more ez to watch some one else climb up and down for u though
Green cash is the best way.

I had a 50' run of seamless installed this spring with the downspout for $6 a foot. I know that is a little high, but in an hour they were done and my water problem was gone.

Had mine done last fall, roughly 40' square was 600.00 but is kinda custom with only 2 downspouts everything dumps to one side of the house, due to decks and garage, system works well only seen it overflow twice in very heay rains

I'm new to the game. What is the benefit of a seamless gutter?

leaves and gunk don't get hung up in seams. Seams leak. Stay away from the plastic gutters. been there done that, brackets are to thick and light rain falls between drip edge and gutters making them useless. Gutter guy charged me $4 a foot and $75 per down spout for seamless. They used hidden stainless hangers from above. On my garage a different company nailed up the seamless for $3 a foot, not as nice and I wonder if water is getting to Fascia boards because of the nail holes.

well my quote ended up being $1050 for the house and 450 for the garage. basically 1500 for the whole shebang.

my house with garage, is about 98 feet long (66 house plus garage 32) ish. back is very straight but front has a couple of dormers. they are 6" gutters with hangers every foot. they stay up all winter too.

may do it.

so are u saying u need about 200ft with fr and back or 98ft total.
if 200 ft
for 200 ft I would counter offer 900 +50 bucks a down spout with 6ft tail off in to the yard.
mid summer they can ask what they want.
with counter let them know u don't care when it gets done can be when they have a few hrs to fill.

How many downspouts? Your at $7.50 a foot if 200 feet. hangers every foot. nailed with spacers? or real hangers that go under first row of shingles? If price includes 4 down spouts, not bad. 6 downspouts do it! Are they going to gutter the dormers too?

6 downspouts, which includes garage. not sure about how hangers are done. Winter-time(my buddy joe) use to work for this guy and he says he does it right.

they are not going to gutter the dormers, just the bottom of roof where they move water to.

I think I will be getting some gutters.

thanks
