My sinuses are REAL bad, have been for a least a month, and I take Allegra (prescription) in addition for antibiotics when needed. Going back to the doctor tomorrow for another antibiotic prescription. Also take Flonase when needed but still have this cough and watery and itchy eyes. ACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Chinese Medicine

Try a pill called Bi Yan Pian. You can buy it online, I get mine off ebay. Less than 10 bucks a bottle, no side effects. I used this for my dog, suggested by her acupuncture vet. Helped her and I had friends with sinus troubles this winter and I got them some and they said it worked.

About 4 or 5 years ago, the pollen so thick you could wipe it off the hood of the car....and though I never ever had an issue before...THAT YEAR, it was like someone threw a switch....I could barely breath. Not one for running to the doctor, after about two weeks, and very hard breathing...I said enough and headed to an allergist.

He just smiled and said..."welcome"....gave me several prescriptions which I filled and used and it got me over the hump.

Now I get some allergy thing going for about a week in the spring, and then often when the furnace kicks on for a week or so, and that's it. Very manageable to be sure.

But I feel for you guys that get wanged with airborne illnesses....not fun and cuts into a bunch of other things you would rather be doing besides working on breathing.

Do you know that stress can cause allergic reactions. Work stresses most, but unpaid bills stress even more. Life is just not fair. Don’t wash your hands and live and eat like a cockroach is my theory to longevity. Clean freaks get sick more often. When we were kids not only did we play in mud, but we ate mud pies. Anyone remember mercurichrome? Mercury and Chromium, we put that on cuts, tough bunch. Allergies are real. Up to last year I thought allergies were as trumped up as fibromyalgia until I got one. Lucked out whatever caused it went away. I suspect it was a reaction to stress, Doctors prescribed and very large contract for tile in the new ever larger Medical building they were building. Handed me the job and all the itching just went away. Those doctors found the cure and I am living happily ever after. Moral of the story is, don’t blame the dog, cat, grass, sunshine or anything else God has given us. Your allergies may be man made. Live like your dieing, most of us are.
