Wondering if this area is is close to opening their trails? Looks like they are getting a fair amount of snow today.

Out grooming in Calumet Cty. B patient , remember things are still not frozen up yet and the snow is all fluff , so dont expect great trails yet.

We have been out working the trails all day. All club are making sure trails are ready for early season riding. I for one was out and came to a fence that was still up. turned the groomer around to get to the other side. Owner was still working on getting it down. The first time opening is always the most work.
Have some swamps we went around. A little water in them yet.
Ozaukee county opened I know

Thanks for the update. Understand it's early season conditions but I have 2 little girls (9, 7) along with a their mom who are ready to go for their first trail ride! :)

Thanks for all of the hard work you put into the trail system. Greatly appreciated.

I see Washington County has opened. I have always had good luck with the trails there. I usually park at the gas station down the road from MJ Stevens.

Trails are open in Sheboygan county.
Grooming is being done, but early season riding. I will be out again this afternoon.
Ride safe and have fun.

I went out on the trails in Sheboygan county today. Trails were bad to fair but if you have to scratch the itch take it slow in the plowed fields.

Just got from grooming southern Sheboygan county, Random Lake, Adell, Batavia Southern Cascade. With the winds trails drifted nicely. Most plowed fields are much better than before and will continue to get better. Two club trails have not been groomed because of swamp issues. Will attempt grooming them later this week.
Groom, Groom and Groom.

Plowed fields are still pretty rough near Howard's Grove. I'd suggest getting out and riding, if you have to, before the rain and warm temps attack this weekend. Rain and cold weather to follow may actually improve thing if they create a solid ice base layer. More snow will need to follow, good luck with that.

I was able to get a short loop in yesterday. Louis Corners south on trails 3S. As already discussed, plowed fields were bad. Made my way towards Howard's Grove, then to School Hill, and back to Louis Corners. Every trail had been groomed. Met one groomer while riding. Of the 43 miles, I would say 60% was really good (grassy fields and woods) and the remainder was bad due to the plowed fields.
Felt great to get a ride in. Thanks to all the clubs for grooming!

This is getting old. 4 inches of snow now rain. If this freezes again there will be 3inches of ice.
Can't afford to go north much. would be nice to have a winter some time:(

I was hoping to be able to ride on Lake Winnebago with the new snow, but all this rain is going to ruin that I am guessing!!
