Yes it did if you do not know the real facts at least have respect for Teresia. I suppose you think Charles Manson is not guilty either. I can tell you one thing they will see each other in ****
Calumet County will be 100% open as of 6pm tonight. I am hoping that the western half of Manitowoc county will be able to reopen as well. That area appeared to be in a good band of light to moderate snow from 8am-1pm today.
Had a great ride in the Kiel area of Manitowoc County yesterday with my family. With the sun shinning, the trails were getting pretty soft but the base (for the most part) was good and the trails had all been groomed and were in good condition. Great job to all the clubs in the area who waste no time getting out there to work with the snow we have to give us the best possible trails for the few days that we actually get to enjoy them.
Glad to hear you had nice riding, Couldn't take the boy's out to ride due to the teenage years issues. Going Fri- Sun up north trip with them, issues have been better. Then we will be riding around here. Have any pics?
Howie
I don't have any pictures from Sunday, however I do have one that I took 20 minutes ago (3:40pm) when I saw the Louis Corners groomer out working the trails. I talked to him briefly. Theres a possibility they they will reopen this week.
Hopefully we will get some more snow in Sheboygan Co. Friday I rode Calumet and Manitowoc Co. and the trails were very good. I think I passed a groomer 4 times that day. Thanks and a good job to all the groomers.
According to Viking Sno-Riders, all Manitowoc county trails are open Friday Feb 12 at 6am and will close Monday Feb 15 at 6am. Tread lightly, stay alert for changing conditions, some areas are drifted and others may have chisel plow showing thru. Stay on trails and be safe.
Had a great ride in the Kiel, Louis Corners area. Grooming was fantastic! Certainly every bit as good as any trails I've been on in N. Wisconsin over the past 25 years.
Thanks for good news. We have a county meeting coming up and will let those clubs know. Was up in Antigo area, rode north, seen very few sleds. Going to do a mid week ride in Kiel area after work myself. Nice to only trailer up for 20 mins verses 3 hours one way.
I know only trails in Sheb County Area 1,2,5 are open, but does that mean the plank trail along 23 is open? If so, can one drop at the club parking lot on 57 and C? If not, what the next closest lot? Elkhart?
Had a great ride last night from St Nazianz north to Valders then Collins, Reedsvills, Wayside, Askeaton before heading back south to Brillion, Reedsville, Collins, Valders and then home. Trails were in great shape especially the run from Askeaton to the east side of Brillion! Only rough patch was along Hwy JJ where groomer can't reach. Meet the groomer at R&R on way home. Stopped at Lucky's for supper and came out to groomed trails back to St.Nazianz. Great job by all the clubs to have them in great condition.
Unfortunately Manitowoc county is closing today (2/18) at noon
We nearly rode the same route yesterday. I wanted to echo your comments on the grooming. St.Nazianz and all trails in Manitowoc and Calumet counties were awesome. Such a treat to have such great trails close to home (Menomonee Falls).
