Well said MNBlizzard. I just lost a cousin 41 years old and one of my best friend's father just passed. Life is short, live it up while you're here! In the end it doesn't matter if you have payments or not!

Well actually it does. I'd rather not pass a bunch of debt on to my heirs.

I understand the whole concept of using credit when its cheap, my last car I took advantage of 36 months zero free, but I also had money in the bank to pay for it if I wanted too. So I guess my thoughts are go ahead and finance if you can make more on your money and can afford to pay it off if you needed too. But I struggle with the idea of financing toys also.

There are ways to protect your heirs from your debt. My point is, enjoy your life, money doesn't matter in the end. People concentrate on money way too much, there are many more riches other than money.

I think it's great that people can afford to pay upfront for their toys, but that doesn't mean people who can't afford to pay for them upfront shouldn't have them either. That's why they have loans, if they didn't this country would be in rough shape, and let's face it, a lot of loans are for pleasure. My mom and dad took out their first loan which was a 90 day note for a 8 track player! LOL! To each their own I guess. I see a lot of people who come through my door that write checks, and then I see others that can't do that and more often than not they appreciate that toy more and spend more time on it. Just sayin... Enjoy! Another storm is coming!
