Just curious but what does one do with a burned up sled on the trail? I have seen a few burn piles in the past and there doesn't appear to be anything worth scavaging. Do people just leave them or what?

There was a burn pile from a sled behind Pat's on 13 last year.

Old toboggon with a couple of garbage cans will work pretty good. Bring plenty of bungies and straps. The only real parts left are steel. Block, front arms, skid arms, steering assemblies, studs, and tool kit, will all fit on a toboggan. Just strap down the bigger pieces and throw the smaller parts into the garbage cans. No need to disassemble. Parts will all be loose.
