Silencer on 2003 Skidoo 600

I am toying with the idea of purchasing a can or silencer for my 03' skidoo rev 600. I hoping to add some hp and beef up the sound a little bit. I am not looking for a screaming top end sound but more of a low/middle range rumble. Can anyone out there recommend any product(s) to me. And how difficult are they to install? Thanks for your feedback.

Can will add no HP...it will most likely rob HP.
Very easy to install...remove springs from stock can and put aftermarket in utilizing same springs.
Only reason to go with an aftermarket can is if you are looking to shave some weight or love to hear it braaaaaaaaaaaaaappp!

Yea, no real power gains, just weight loss. I have run the AAEN cans on both my 04 SDI 600 and my 08 TNT. Nice mellow sound, not loud, sounds stock at idle, nice rumble at acceleration. You dont want one that braaaps too much. The neighbors and the CO's won't like it, and it really gets annoying at trail speeds to hear for any length of time.

Nice way to get us kicked off Lands that our trails run across just so you can sound cool. THINK ABOUT IT

Hey Longtrack - The guy was asking for advice about types of cans and installs. Geeze....., the last four posts I've read have all been like this - (someone asks a question, and the thread gets all twisted into defensive and opinionatetd spats) Time to ride people!

thanks

thank you to all that answered this thread I appreciate it. I do understand the noise issue and would do nothing to potentially give the sport a bad name. thank you again, you have pointed me in the proper direction.
