site issue's

OK is anyone else having any issue's lately here??
when I am on my PC at home, and log on here, about every so often I get kicked off and have to re open the site
I ONLY have this issue with THIS site and it just started the last week or so

its like page try's to re load on its own and then fails??
and I have to then re open the link

so, anyone else having any issue's or just me LOL
???

After I log in and try to post or reply I have to log in again and again. This one may work ? Whats wrong,, I paid my bills and answered the phone this month.

So when you say "The Site" do you mean the entire website, or just the discussion board?

I have a log in and out problem every so often on my mac using Chrome with US Bank website. After clearing browser history and cookies. The issues are resolved. Not sure if this will help. But easy to clear history and cookies. Give it a try.

It usually happens only on the Discussion Board for me. I just got knocked out twice trying to post this.

Oh sure, you had to get specific, LOL. Now I'll have to pay attention to when it occurs, although I thought it did it yesterday while reading the journal.

Will let you know if/when it happens again.

all good on my end, home computer, work computer and Ipad.
one thing I noticed about picture's now is you used to be able to click on a picture and it would enlarge, doesn't do that anymore.

all good here. Put more aluminum foil on your head and hold your right leg up in the air, and of course keep the curtains open

FWIW, I haven't had any "issue's" (a plural form with an apostrophe???) with this site as described in previous notes at all, and I'm usually on here several times a day. Except for the following seemingly unrelated issues:


  1. When entering a message, using the Preview Post feature, then editing/revising the message, the raw message source text used to be retained in the message composition window for further editing/rewriting, etc. until clicking on the Submit Reply button to finally post the message. This isn't always the case lately; sometimes the raw message text disappears from the message composition window after the Preview Post action, so to continue writing/editing the tentative message, I have to "go back one page" to recover the tentative message text. (Or save off a copy in Notepad before using Preview Post, then copying/pasting it back into the message composition window thereafter.)
  2. After posting a message, and discovering a typo (Oh horrors! :eek:), I may attempt to use the Edit Post feature, only to find that the resulting message composition window is totally empty — the original raw message source text is rarely delivered in the message composition window any more as used to be the case. The only resort being to reconstruct the entire message from scratch (or from a copy I may have saved on my PC for that eventuality.)

This could all be some issue (memory usage?) with the Firefox browser, however.

for me it seems to happen mostly while on the forum or TRYING to get on the forum
many times when I log in and click on the " NEW POSTS"
option, it will NOT even load the page, a white page will load and or then it will kick me off the whole site
will get a OOOP"S message saying something like
page lost connection
then I will re log onto site and will work or NOT
as many time when I click on a forum tread it will again kick me off with same message or no message

and again, ONLY on this site, no other forums or sites I visit

and just started about a week or so ago!

No log in problems on any of my access points. I have some of the same issues Frank mentioned regarding post previews but I figured it was to sporadic to worry about. Then I have another issue on my home machine when I'm typing a post. After a couple minutes, or if I "reply with a quote" I can only type about 1 letter a second or else the keystroke doesn't register. It has to be something in my home pc because it doesn't do it anyplace else so I've just been trying to live with it. If anyone has an idea on that let me know.

Like xcsp says below, it only happens here

Thank you seems to of helped but pics still an issue. I must of filled the pic bucket a few years back.

I updated my browser over the weekend and it hasn't acted up since. Fingers crossed!
