sizing for Polaris jacket

I found a good deal on a Polaris jacket online. Trouble is there are no returns and I am not sure about sizing. This is a shell-type jacket. I normally wear an XL and the Polaris sizing chart seems to be ok for an XL. Anyone have a Polaris jacket and if they run big or small? Given that it is a shell, I was thinking about going one size bigger than normal assuming I would need to wear a thicker midlayer underneath it. But I am not sure if the shell jackets are sized to accomodate that already.

I'm 5'10" and somewhere around 230-240 (I don't care to know) and I have an IQ jacket XL from '08 I believe with the liner and everything. It fits good but a little tight around the arms.

I also have a 2011 (I believe) IQ 2xl that seems to fit the same way. Both jackets have the liner and I wear them most of the time. If I take out the liner there is PLENTY of room in them.

The 08 is a Reissa and not sure what the newer one is.

Well they only have the xl or xlt. No 2xl's and no returns. Probably going to pass on it this time. If anyone is looking for a good deal, search polaris evt on ebay.

I'm 5 11, 190 and own a Polaris shell type jacket (mine came with the zip in/out fleece liner). Mines an XL and it fits me great. You might be pushing XXL.

Go ahead and get the XXL2....you're going to need the extra room for all the tools those sleds need to fix em! Remember that crowbars and monkey wrenches take up the lions share of the pockets.:D

I'm 5' 10' and 230-240 with a XL polaris shell jacket about 4 years old. If I remember it was the MVT style jacket they had out. I have worn it with and without a liner and it fits me fine. I would think with your height the XLT jacket should work. If you live near Indy I'm on the northwest side and you could come size it for yourself if you wanted.
