Skeeters etc.

Headed up to your end of heaven next weekend (Pt Abbaye, Huron Bay), plan to go out on our property for a bit, I was wondering how the skeeters/ticks/flies are in the woods right now. We usually don't head over that way till fall, but taking my son for his visit to Tech! The boy is going to school in the Yoop, couldn't be happier about that!

My father was at our deer camp a few weekends ago, west of Baraga about 10 miles. All forms of biting insects were in full-bloom. He said it was miserable, but we do have a lot of standing water around us. The only thing he didn't find was ticks, but I'm sure they're there.
