Ski-Doo Beeper Dying?

Hopefully an easy one... recently the beeper on my '04 Rev sounds extremely faint and a little delayed when starting it and shutting it off (the 2 beeps), almost as if it's worn out. The back up beeper still sounds normal. Are they different beepers? Do they commonly die and require replacement? Battery is new so shouldn't be that.

Mine does the same thing. Sometimes sounds stronger than other times. Nevr bothered me enough to get it looked at..
