Ski Doo BV2 issue

I have a BV2 helmet and the rear LED light stopped working. I have tried fresh batteries and that didn't solve the problem. Our group likes when I am the lead sled since they can see the light. Has anyone has an issue that was solvable without sending the helmet into SKI DOO? Thanks

WD40 and a lot of patient. Keep working the switch. They corrode
Mine is about 10 yrs.old and still works great, thanks to WD40 and TLC

Mine has the opposite problem. The darn thing turns itself on all the time. Never have figured out why it does that but it always has.

Mine worked a year or two.Took it to a friend that does radio repair and had him put a new, better switch in it.Been working since then.

This has been my experience. Great concept and people behind me love when it works, but I got tired of feeding it batteries because unbeknownst to me, it would turn itself on in my gear bag and I'd never know it, and then the batteries would be dead next time I tried to use it. I gave up.
