stator! found new at rm stator for 175 even from skidoo 285 dont know where you paid 350 but that seems extremely out of line!

Glad ya got it going! I have 7200 problem free (knock on wood) miles on mine, but will remember your symptoms when my time comes.

ok so not stator died again...so we pull motor check wires because ski-doo has an awesome design! well finally we think its the cdi box....as it would not start until we got the cdi box cooled(packed it in snow...starts right up runs great....so pull motor once again! cuz cdi box buried under motor...about 500 bucks in parts and labor and maybe will be good wont know until thursday when cdi box arrives!

Now the only thing you need to worry about is your crank.lol Turn that oil pump up & you will be ok.
