Looking for some help in my wife's sled. It's a 2005 GTX 500 SS and it won't start. It's not getting fuel. I've put fresh plugs in, pressurized the tank, used some starting fluid, dumped gas right in the cylinders, nothing. It did fire up when I dumped gas straight into the cylinders for a couple seconds but that was it. Plugs stay dry and I'm getting frustrated. Anybody have any great insight for me? I did start it once this summer and it started fine.

Sounds like you need a good carb clean. Ethanol gas leave little gell balls that will plug up your pilot jets.

Oh this has been fun. Carbs are out and will finish cleaning tomorrow. Biggest PITA was getting the coolant line for the heated carbs off the back side. Impossible. Other than that, not to bad.
When you go back together remove hose from tank and leave on carbs or put on a longer hose so you have some leadway for room to work.
Got it all back together and it's running. Put the carbs back on and tries to start it and it just cranked and cranked. No go! Then I pulled the air box back off and dumped gas straight in the carbs and she fired right up. Let it run like that for awhile to be sure it was actually pulling gas through and then out the airbox back on, secondary clutch back on, and it still started! So, I probably didn't need to pull the carbs to clean but it didn't hurt. Thanks for all the advice and help!

When I took them off I actually did take the hose off from the tank, not the carbs. i have a friend who once he did his the first time he just plugged the hose and no longer has heated carbs!
