3 long sleeve shirts, I know it's a 3 layer system, butI have a huge neck and if I wear a fleece I can't zipper up the collar. Next year the Klim Coat will be for sale and I will buy a Skidoo or another Brand coat.

What size. I have mint condition Skidoo coat with zip out liner I will trade.

Sorry polarisider1, I'm 2XL and also heading up North Monday for the week.
So even if you had a 2XL , their would be no time to trade.

If you decide to sell that jacket after the season, let me know...that size would work for me.

I've been seriously contemplating getting Klim gear, and thought I'd go full insulation for bibs and jacket. I've been sick of having wet/cold pants after hitting through fresh powder and wanted the "guaranteed to keep you dry" stuff.

I got a free pair of Klim Extreme bibs, which are not insulated, as my dad sold his sled and didn't need them. I'm hooked on 'em. I had a layered system that consisted of polyester/wool long underwear, then a pair of polyester sweat pants I got for 8 bucks at Dunhams, then the bibs. I have a castle insulated jacket and layered under it as well. Rode 500 miles last weekend with highs in the low teens, a lot of riding in below zero weather, was warm as toast. This included standing for a few miles outside watching the i500 race.

Now I have to decide whether to buy an uninsulated Klim jacket.....

Riding with Motorfist this weekend, I will say, I am blown away at how nice this stuff really is. Using the layering system also. I have next to skin short sleeve shirt with a thin fleece jacket and my jacket, what a world of difference! No wetness to speak of, and the bibs, I'm just wearing my mountain biking pants, which are a poly fleece combo and my bibs, no wet butt and was super comfortable all day long. My klims might going up for sale.

We don't have a recycling program for old gear but glad you like the MF gear!

Where were you riding? In what conditions?

Just riding a "little" off trail in the UP. Conditions were varied from heavy, wet setup to dry and fluffy in a three day span. Gotta love the Midwest, :D

Just purchased the new Klim Vector jacket this past friday, tested it thoroughly over 3 days. This Jacket is purpose built for trail riding warmth. Wore a klim layer 1 long sleeve under it and that was it. temps were around 3 degrees and I rode about 50/50 on trail and off. Never got remotely cold. Money well spent. I am very happy with my Klim gear again!
