What is the best way to clean rave valves.

I pull them off and soak them in brake clean and scrub with a toothbrush. I do it once a year and they are easy to get looking new. If they are really dirty it may take a couple rounds of soaking and scrubbing. Don't forget to get new gaskets for them.

ok thks just wondered if there was any better cleaner out there besides brakekleen.

Easy Off Oven Cleaner works well. Let it work then finish the clean up with a razor knife or small brass brush. Viola - shiney like new !

I keep it away from the fiber gasket.
