i currently own a 14 summit X 146 800 with narrow ski stance up front and 2.5 lug with flex edge track I ride 99% off-trail all UP Michigan never west forest roads two tracking and any open area....just carving up the deep. Very little hill climbing in the hardwoods And always in search of where it's deeper. I like the summits power and ability to carve in the tighter pine trees Everything I read and hear is the new RMK axys is off the charts awesome. Is this new RMK everything and more? At 155 will it be as nimble as my summit. I understand it's only another 4.5 inches on the ground compared to the summit. . Looking for even more handing and increased riding experience The summit is no longer available in a 146. It's now a Renegade BC. I've ridden a 2012 summit SP 154 and was NOwhere near what my XM 146 is like. Any thoughts, comments, opinions feedback greatly appreciated. Should I make the switch? Our group all ride doo. No RMKs. Thanks. LES

heres 43 pages for you to read about axys in mountain segment of dootalk. Seems like a pretty sweet sled if it stays together. Lot of guys own both on dootalk. If i was you i would wait until my17 gets released unless you wana jump on a deal for rebates.

The axys is an incredible sled for sure, makes the old pro feels like a bathtub. If you ride only in the UP and aren't into technical tree lines though I'm not sure how fun of a sled it would be. Seems like a shorter sled with a large lug would be more fun for your style of riding. I would be shocked if polaris didn't come out with an axys switchback assault/a shorter pro rmk or sks version for 2017 which sounds like it'd be right up your alley.

The above statement is incorrect. You can still get the Summit in a 146". It's just that they also offer the Backcountry now with T-motion in a 146" too.
