Ski Doo XP-R2 or 509 Carbon or Evolution

I have got it down to the Ski Doo XP-R2 Helmet or the 509 Carbon or Evolution. Any feedback on which is better?

I see some of the Ski Doo XP-R CARBON LIGHT HELMET's out their yet as well. What changed with the XP-R2. It looks to me like a face trim for wind protection? Which goggles fit the XP-R or XP-R2 helmet best?


Also, anyone use the Ultimate breathguard?

Does the XP-R2 fit the same as the other Ski Doo MX style helmets? I can only find the XP-2 or XC-3 at the dealers near me to try on. I will need to order the XP-R2 online and have it shipped and want to make sure I get the right fit.

Anyone know of any good sales on these?

I have the 509 carbon fiber and aviator goggles. This is my first moto x helmet and was worried about cold spots on my face, with that being said this combo is awesome, no complaints and was riding on some very cold trail rides and was never cold at all. I have to say this and it hurts after spending the money. I dont think the carbon fiber is a **** of alot lighter. My buddy has the 509 regular helmet and I can hardly feel a differance! The funny thing is look in the catalog and it says lighter but doesnt give an exact number! Feel the weight of both one on one and make your decision. I bought all my stuff from Road Track And Trail in big bend wi ( sponsor on here) and was treated very well.
