Ski Guides

I'm looking for recommendations for ski guides. I recently purchased a new 12' clamshell style covered trailer. My preference would be to do each of the four guides in single strips versus piecing it together. Thanks!

Save your money. Take 2, 12' 2x4's and rip them the long way. Then take the two halves, put them side by side, but with a gap between them that's wide enough for the carbide to slide between, but close enough so that the outer edges of the skis rest on them. Screw them down and, Viola! Instant ski guides for $10 VS. $150, or more. Worked awesome in my enclosed when I had it. Carbides never touched the deck, and the sled slid easy enough to drag it around, but enough resistance that it didn't slide TOO easily. Just taper the leading end a bit. They won't turn into slip/fall hazards like plastic either when you're in your trailer with fresh snow on your boots.

Buddy on a budget did the same worked real well with treated 2x2"s.

I just took a set off my 12 sled bed trailer. Free if you would want them. They are about ten years old. I'm getting a new enclosed aluma trailer with glides already installed. I'm in east central MN.

Same here. I took a set off my Inline. They are the Caliber Ski Guides. I have 75 feet ( 15- 5 foot pieces ). Used one season.

Free if you want to come and get them. I live in Southwest lower Michigan. (White Pigeon).
