I have a $550 very good condition lightly used sled, with a motor that needs rebuilding- suspect the crank seals because it runs normal at first, gets up and goes like a 377 would up to about 45. Then when its warmed up, it starts doggin and barely takes off- once it spins up to about 20mph, it acts like that's all she's got. I bought it for my 13 year old to tool around on, but since it doesn't just get up and go when you get on the throttle, it aint no fun? I've rebuilt motors (500 indy liquid twin, xlt triple etc) and can tackle this fan cooled project, I'm just not feeling it's worth spending money on? Any sparks under my butt to get me goin?
