Sled in Bed Alone

Fellas,

I would like to get my sled into the bed of my truck alone, without a ramp and without buddies. Has anyone found any brilliant methods to get this done?

Find a snowbank, hill, or ditch that you can back up to. Then drive it in.

In the past, I've used a chain host from the garage rafter to lift the front of the sled up and back the pickup up to it.. Once the front was on the tailgate, it wasn't too bad to lift the rear of the sled up by hand and push the sled in the rest of the way.

When I saw your headline on the main page I thought you had bought a new sled and now you were in bed alone!

I've always used the snowbank method too.

At Home I use my Engine lift to get the sled in the bed. up North Snowbank.

While it may be a little hassle, if you have an implement dealer or grain elevator close by, they usually have an outside dock suitable to load your p/u. I use a ramp at home and snowbank at destination.

That's the problem. No snow.

I think i have to find a grain elevator or something similar.
