Good ole fashion block of scrap wood, like a 4x4, simply pickup the rear & kick the wood under the track, done.-Mezz

With track off ground your supension is unloaded and if frozen it will be easyier to lossen up. I run sled on stand at 5mph and all ice and snow are thrown out.

nice stand...but my sled is so heavy, not sure if I can stand a whole winter lifting...thanks for the ideas tho
Don't forget, the bumpers on many of these sleds are not made to suspend that kind of weight for a long period, eventually, the bumper will get pulled loose &/or break. As far as the suspension being unloaded, not really significant just sitting on the ground or floor. If it's too heavy to be picking up, then perhaps a 4x4 block attached to a piece of 2x12 & drive on.-Mezz

Ken no way you will be lifting a Venture GT with 1 arm & shoving a stand under the bumper. lol We can probably screw a piece of plywood to an old car bumper jack base then duct tape the jack arm so it won't damage the sled bumper & ratchet that sucker off the ground. That is what I'm thinking at this point use what we have & make do. :) Did you post a pictuere of the new sled in your profile yet?

I know...just looking for an alternative...i have a bumper jack but it won't last thru the winter......
Need to find one, maybe ebay or farm supply?

Thanks for the tip on this lift/stand! I bought one and have used it in the garage to raise the front and rear of my 900ACE, works great!

Probably won't need to use my sled lift too often now that I have this one.

I just purchased the same lift because I needed a higher lift for my Long track sled. The lift is great! Very well made. Works well for lifting my polaris SBA (144) and my yami Nytro.

I f ed up last winter and left 2 rear bumper jack stands in a parking lot in WY. both were over $125 each.
deff nice not to have to pick up a sled full of snow at the end of a long day.

Couple pieces of scrap lumber...drive on it at the end of the day. Stick a couple more under the skis...and cover...done.

I got two car bumper jacks from the junk yard years ago for 5 bucks each - from the 70's cars - most of them are smashed now but some yards pull out the jacks and have them laying around-good luck!
