We just covered 2 stroke this session. A lot of it was universal stuff; clutch, track, wear items, ect. We could cover 4 stroke in the future. Would you guys be interested in lil video clips of "how to" stuff?

Video clip would be great..........I believe I know the basics but I am positive I could still learn a LOT. If the class was not so far away I would attend, any one ever hear of similar classes in MN?

I'm in the same boat. I know a bit, mostly by keeping my eyes and ears open. I've never felt real comfortable spending too much time talking about it with the guys where I got my sled. It's always too busy, and they're in a bit of a rush.

yes - video would be great for the basic stuff. My vote would be for (1) shock adjustment and (2) toe-in/toe-out adjustment.

I would definately be interested in a video. I would love to learn more about maintenance on sleds. I would like to be there but it would be too far for me to attend.

Nice video. Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but what do you look for to see if the hyfax needs to be changed?

There is actually a wear line on most of them.. it looks like a seam on the side of the hyfax. But mostly, look at the hyfax and look for a spot that it is thinner than other areas. The track usually wears it at the front curve, the rear and sometimes in the center if your track flaps at it. If it LOOKS like it may need to be changed...change it. They are $10-$18 a stick and rails are hundreds... it's cheap insurance..lol

Thanks. That definitely helps. I have my sleds checked every year but I like to learn as much as I can so I can do things myself when I can handle it.
