sled rentals around Houghton....

Folks, I know M&M rents in Hancock, can someone tell me who else might rent sleds up there? I have a group of 12 coming up in January, and they are saying they might not have enough to cover us. Looking for a backup plan if that is the case...

Dan's Polaris just south of Houghton in Atlantic Mine. Great people to work with.

Be careful with Everts. Wife rented a sled there last year and almost killed herself on an icy trail. She couldn't steer at all. I checked the skis and there was no carbides left at all and the ski was even getting eaten. Very dangerous. I kick myself for not looking the sled over better.

We did however stop at Pats to test ride a Vector. Their sleds were in excellent condition. I will be renting there next time we head up north.

Timberline in Bergland

Our group has wrecked (I mean rented) a couple sleds from Timberline. Marlin and Mark are the best!

I second Marlin and Mark from Timberline in Bergland...and just down the street is Lake Gogebic Sportscenter (Guy runs the shop) if you want Polaris instead of Doos.
